Steering Committee
 
The International Steering Committee acted as temporary International Academic Board during the initial phase of establishment of the Vienna Wiesenthal Institute (VWI). Its duties included writing a mission statement as well as consulting the association's initiating committee [„Proponentenkomitee“] on matters of organisation and content. For this purpose, an international conference was held in Vienna on August 26 and 27, 2002.
