Über Simon Wiesenthal

Simon Wiesenthal (1908–2005) dedicates his life to documenting Nazi crimes. A survivor of several concentration camps, he systematically investigates Nazi perpetrators after 1945. Guided by the principle ‘Justice, not revenge’ he plays a key role in the prosecution of offenders. Through his efforts, he exposes ongoing antisemitic and racist continuities, and strengthens the remembrance of the victims.

In doing so, he becomes an internationally recognised voice for human rights, historical responsibility and democracy.
